Knowledge/Quiz Bowl
Polar Express -
Knowledge Bowl/Quiz Bowl allows students in grades 9-12 to compete in academic competition involving both written and oral rounds. The questions come from a wide variety of areas, including history, science, math, English, art, current events, geography, politics, entertainment, etc. Teams consist of four members, and we compete in both Knowledge Bowl and Quiz Bowl meets. We are a friendly, fun bunch and are always looking for new members. If you know and like trivia, this is the fun no-stress activity for you!
Time Commitment: Our season runs from late October to February, and practices are held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting in late October. Competitions will be virtual.

Quiz Bowl Milestones (as of 2/11/24)
- Congratulations to Andrew Benham and Austin Cronk for moving into the 1,000 point club and the top ten scorers in BSM history.
- Special congratulations to Jonathan McMerty-Brummer for moving into first place as the all-time leading scorer at BSM with 3,880 career points.
- With Jonathan in 1st place, Luke Sauer in 6th place, Andrew in 8th place and Austin in 10th place, this is the first time BSM has ever had four active players in the top ten. Well done to everyone!
