The Benilde-St. Margaret’s Boys Lacrosse team that has earned their way to the 2025 MSHSL State Tournament. The Red Knights, defending state champions, were the number two seed behind the Wayzata Trojans in this year’s section tournament. BSM outscored Wayzata 5-1 in the fourth quarter to top the Trojans 10-8 to win the Section 5 championship and to advance to state for the 10th time since the tournament began in 2007.
In the 2025 Section 5 Tournament the Red Knights defeated Hopkins/St. Louis Park (17-3) in the quarterfinal game, Rogers (13-5) in the semifinal game and Wayzata (10-8) in the championship game.
Class A State Tournament which will be held on June 10, 12 and 14 at Chaska High School and Eden Prairie High School. The tournament schedule can be found here. Information about the tickets, streaming and brackets can be found on the MSHSL website.
